A Tuesday in the Life of Owen and Jack

I'm determined to finish the week in the life of these boys! Our computer got a virus the week I decided to document, so I'm way behind! But I'm not giving up! After breakfast and getting dressed, I took Owen to school. And Jack built a row of sharks!Jack played on the computer while I worked on organizing the meal for the college students for the next Monday. The weather was so nice we decided to open up the windows. Jack had fun talking to Jovie from inside the kitchen. Then it was naptime. After naptime, I picked up Owen from school. While I fixed his snack, Owen checked on his sea monkeys. He started out with about six - Pokey, Harry, Baba, Rico, Liner (who has braces), and Pinecone. Then we woke up to about a hundred sea monkeys. We are now down to 6 again (and three new babies). We are sure that the 6 older remaining are the 6 originals...Because Owen stayed on green at school the week before (mostly), he was rewarded with a family picnic at the park for dinner. While eating our pb&j's, we were interviewed for a news piece on school something or other. It was pretty random and funny. We were very unprepared, as you can see by Jack's Margaritaville shirt. It is an awesome shirt - my dad got it for him on a cruise - I just think it's funny that the campus minister's kid was on the news in a shirt like that! After our moment of fame (really, Nick did all the talking), we got to play!
Jack's favorite outdoor activity: dirt anything.
